Before you start
There are a few things you should do before starting step 1:
- Make sure that your phone is compatible with SYNC® by checking our compatibility chart
- Pair and connect your phone to SYNC
- Familiarize yourself with the controls in your vehicle
- Turn on your vehicle, phone, and radio/SYNC (your vehicle must be in Park)

Press the Phone button to access the Phone Menu. Press OK.

Press the Arrow button until Phone Settings displays. Press OK. -

Touch Advanced

Touch Auto Download On/Off.

Auto Set On displays confirming your selection.
Once you have selected Auto Download, SYNC will automatically update your phonebook and recent call history each time the phone connects to SYNC.
